Leadership for Trinity Bible Church of Edwardsburg

Kevin Korhorn

Kevin Korhorn was raised by two godly parents who attended a Baptist Church until they helped plant an Evangelical Free church in their hometown of Big Rapids, MI, with five other families. The Lord took hold of Kevin's heart in a special way in the summer of 1991 at Spring Hill Camp in Evart, Michigan. The next summer he met Lori at Spring Hill, and they were married in 1993. They have lived in the South Bend area their entire married lives. Kevin's first call to serve as an elder came in 1996 at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in South Bend, Indiana, where Kevin and Lori attended for 12 years until they moved farther north near the border of Michigan. They attended Harvest Bible Chapel-Granger (Gospel City Church) for 12 years as well, and Kevin was again called to serve as an elder as the church was being established. In 2021, a group of families from the Edwardsburg area felt God calling them to plant a church in Edwardsburg. Trinity Bible Church of Edwardsburg was established in September of 2022. Kevin and his wife Lori have been married for 30  years and have 3 adult children.  Kevin is a financial planner at Korhorn Financial Group, Inc.

Daniel Jones

Dan Jones is a family physician in Niles, Michigan with Southwestern Medical Clinic. He and his wife, Stephanie, live in Edwardsburg, Michigan. They have two adult children, Kelsey (married to Jonathan) and Nathan. Dan and his family lived in Asia over a period of 20 years, returning to southwestern Michigan every 3-4 years. In 2011, they settled in South Bend, and got involved in Harvest Bible Chapel (Gospel City Church). The highlight of Dan’s week for many years was leading his men’s Bible study group! When they moved to Edwardsburg, they decided to join the core group of people interested in planting a church in the community. Dan enjoys using his pastoral gifts and medical skills to help others – both in his own community and overseas. He is passionate about leading inductive Bible studies, facilitating peacemaking, and communicating truth across cultures. It is his desire to encourage loving community which transforms character and deepens faith.

Jim Parrish

Jim Parrish was raised on a small farm in Cassopolis, Michigan where his  parents attend Pleasant View Church of Christ. Both of his parents were very involved in the ministry of the church and in the community where his dad was both an elder of the church and a law enforcement office for the county. Jim along with his three brothers were all led to the Lord through the church at a very young age.

Jim attended and graduated with a Bachelor's in Religious Education from Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing, Michigan. It was during this time in his life that he met and later married the love of his life Terri (Melville) Parrish.  Jim spent the next 20 years working as a full time Youth Pastor at two different churches in Michigan, as well as being a principal of a private Christian school in New Jersey.

Following his time in ministry, the Lord led Jim and his family back home where he worked for the next 6 years at US Business Systems.  It was during this time that Jim was given the opportunity to teach in children's ministry at both Granger Community Church and then later at Harvest Bible Chapel.  Jim and Terri have been blessed to have two sons, Jonathan and Steven, and a daughter Londyn. Jonathan is married to Stephanie and they have two boys, Maverick and Cameron.  Steven passed away in 2009.

Both Terri and Jim are currently licensed Real Estate Agents and Brokers in both Indiana and Michigan.  They have been residents of Edwardsburg since 2004. They are so thankful to be helping Trinity Bible Church of Edwardsburg and know that God has a plan for this area to help build and grow a ministry based on the truth of His Word and the love of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Gebriell Sierra

Geb’s mission in life is to make much of God by serving others through biblical, urgent, and straightforward teaching. He longs to see himself and others treasure Jesus above everything.

He grew up on Long Island in eastern NY and was saved in middle school. God providentially moved Geb to listen to an online Gospel message on Mathew 7:21–29. This message deeply stirred Geb to consider his standing before God, and he spent the following months wrestling in prayer and over Scripture. God gave him a new heart, and as a result he began to grow in sorrow over sin and a love for the Bible (John 3:3; Romans 8:5).

As the years went by, Geb poured himself into ministry at his local church and was discipled by his pastors there. He began to sense a calling to vocational ministry, and this inclination was confirmed by his mentors. After becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Geb decided to pursue education for ministry at Bethlehem College & Seminary in Minneapolis, MN (2018–2020) and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2020–2024). He is thankful for the ways God used these years to grow him spiritually and theologically. Some of Geb’s older influences are J.C. Ryle, George Whitefield, Charles Spurgeon, and the puritans.

Geb married his wife Ruthie in 2020 and they have a beautiful daughter. Together, some things they enjoy are hiking, bird-watching, camping, hospitality, and reading.
